PJ Jacobsen is one of the most decorated and complete American riders of his generation. His career is defined by excellence in global competition, culminating in the title of 2015 World Supersport Vice Champion (WSS), where he also made history as the first American to secure a pole position and a race win in the series.

A winner of over 30 amateur national titles, PJ seamlessly brought his expertise to MotoAmerica, earning the 2019 Supersport Vice Championship and achieving multiple Superbike wins and podium finishes. PJ's journey into motorcycle racing began with early dominance, as he clinched the 2006 USGPRU 125GP National Championship, showcasing his prowess on the track and accumulating over 30 amateur national titles.

Jacobsen raced in the Supersport World Championship from 2014 through 2018, where he accumulated two wins and 16 podium finishes. Jacobsen became the first American to claim both a pole position and a win in the Supersport World Championship during the Malaysian round.


In 2015, Jacobsen achieved the World Supersport Vice Champion, solidifying his status as one of the top riders in the international motorcycle racing scene.

PJ's other stellar accolades include competing in the World Superbike Championship in 2018, earning the 2019 MotoAmerica Supersport Vice Championship while collecting four wins and 11 podium finishes. In 2020, Jacobsen raced SuperStock 1000 where he won every race he competed in. In 2022 Jacobsen returned to MotoAmerica racing after an injury had him sidelined for the 2021 season. Competing in the Superbike class in 2022 and 2023, PJ earned one win, 11 podiums, and took third in the 2023 championship.


This year, Jacobsen claimed the vice-championship for Rahal Ducati Moto, maintaining championship contention all season with seven wins, 14 podiums and 10 front row starts.
